Following receipt of the lead name passenger details and confirmation of the booking, a confirmation e-mail with the ABParking reference number will forwarded
Passengers that request a car parking permit be sent via e-mail will have this attached to their confirmation e-mail
If the car parking permit is to be forwarded by post this will be despatched at least 4 weeks before the sailing date of the cruise

These car parking spaces are located in the Western Docks, alongside the City Cruise Terminal and are in full view of the cruise ship, within metres of the check-in area. Passengers will self park their cars and unload their personal luggage from the vehicle and proceed with their luggage to the Cruise Terminal. Customers will retain their car keys throughout the duration of the cruise.
(Please note the change for luggage transfer arrangements for all cruises in 2017)
The car parking service on offer for each cruise call will depend on the cruise line operator and the departure & arrival terminal
We offer three different pre-bookable & chargeable car parking products within our secure port estate, which include:
i) Terminal Long Stay Car Parks
ii) Meet & Greet Long Stay Car Parks
iii) Shuttle Service Long Stay Car Parks - (on peak sailings)
For those customers who are Blue Badge holders we have a limited number of car park spaces in our dedicated Blue Badge car park that must be booked & paid in advance of the sailing date
The Short Stay car parks within the Port Estate are "Pay On The Day" facilities and are chargeable on entry into the car park - these car parks are licenced to 3rd party operators by Associated British Ports
There are five dedicated long stay car parks located directly adjacent to the City Cruise Terminal in the Western Docks
For long stay car parking in the Eastern Docks facilities are located alongside the QEII Terminal
Drivers will be directed by a traffic marshal to their assigned long stay car park, which are signposted as Blue, Red, Yellow, Green or Blue Badge
There is a dedicated blue badge car park located directly adjacent to the City Cruise Terminal
Spaces should be pre-booked & paid for prior to the sailing date and are subject to availability
The blue badge, along with the parking permit, must be displayed clearly in the car windscreen on arrival in the port
Once the vehicle is parked in the blue badge car park, the blue badge should be removed from the vehicle and retained by the holder throughout the duration of the cruise
Embarking Passengers;
It is the responsibility of all passengers to unload their personal possessions from their vehicles
Porters will be in all car park to take care of cabin luggage. Passengers are also able to transfer their cabin luggage through to the assigned drop off area at the Cruise Terminal.
Please retain in your possession passports, cruise tickets & hand luggage
Trolleys are provided for passengers wishing o take their own luggage through to the cruise terminal
Disembarking Passengers;
The cruise line will arrange for passenger cabin luggage to be discharged from the ship and will be available for collection by passengers in the cruise terminal
Trolleys will be available in the Baggage Hall
Our on-site car parks are operated by the owners of the Port of Southampton with dedicated facilities used only by cruise passengers and they are locked once the ship has departed and re-opened the day the ship arrives back in port

Please note that all vehicles and personal items are left at the owners risk
Space permitting we do permit passengers to park vehicles other than a standard size car, however this would need to be arranged in advance and is subject to availability
An additional charge will apply to vehicles taking up more than one standard car parking space
There are no height restrictions applied to any vehicle
All car parks operated by ABParking are situated in open air secure compounds located within the Southampton Port Estate
For Terminal Long Stay, Terminal Blue Badge and Shuttle car parking, passengers park their own vehicles and retain their car keys throughout the duration of their cruise
For all Meet and Greet car parking, passenger car keys are retained securely by ABParking throughout the duration of the cruise - on returning to the port an ABParking representative will be available on the ships arrival to return the vehicle keys to the driver
ABParking do not charge an administration fee for cruise car parking reservations
There is no charge for using a debit or credit card
All major credit and cards are accepted with the exception of American Express
During the payment process, you will be transferred to SagePay, where your payment will be processed through their secure payment portal
ABParking do not hold or retain customer credit or debit card details

Within 30 days to departure date - 20%
