Accessibility

At Associated British Ports, we want our website to be accessible for everybody. There are lots of changes you can make to your computer to make browsing the internet a better experience. If you want to alter the way you see, hear or use a website, you can change options in your internet browser.

There is also an excellent resource on the BBC website entitled My Web My Way, which covers ways that you can change your browser to work better on the web for you, whether you are a Windows, Mac or Linux user.

In recent years the makers of web browsers have adopted and brought in support for an open set of standards. These standards are laid down by the W3C, a not for profit organisation, that oversees the development of the web.

Access Keys:

If your browser supports access keys we have defined them for the top level of the site. We have not gone beyond that level as we believe having too many access key creates a burden on the user in remembering them.
