Southampton is easy to reach by road from all over the UK. It is just 2.4 km from from the motorway network and also has direct rail links for both freight and passenger trains.

From the North, East and London

Access by road to Southampton is straightforward. From M3 follow south following signs to Southampton. M3 becomes the A27 at junction 14. Follow signs for Southampton Docks which takes you onto the A33 and then A3024.

For City Cruise Terminal enter the port via gate 8 or 10.

For QEII Cruise Terminal enter port via gate 4.

For Mayflower Cruise Terminal enter the port by either gate 20 or gate 10.

From the South West

Enter Southampton via A31 from Poole/Bournemouth, exit junction 3 of M27 and enter Southampton via M271 and then A3024. Follow signs for Southampton Docks and the relevant dock gate number.
