Where are the car parks located?
All our car parks are located in ABP Port of Southampton secure port estate.
Long Stay Car Parks
Located adjacent to the cruise terminal, less than a five-minute walk to the entrance.
Shuttle Car Park
Located in the Western Docks (access through Dock Gate 8 or Dock Gate 10). The car park is a three-minute shuttle bus journey within the port to the terminal.
You will be directed to the car drop-off area outside the terminal; your car will then be parked in a secure car park inside the port estate. On your return your car will be ready for collection outside the terminal. Staff will be on hand to direct you to your vehicle and provide assistance.

Do your car parks have dedicated disabled bays?
There is a dedicated blue badge car park next to City Cruise Terminal. There are a limited number of spaces in this car park, therefore if you have a blue badge you must book your space in advance of your cruise. Please ensure your blue badge is displayed in your vehicle.
Are ABP car parks secure?
Each car park is a dedicated facility and is used only by cruise passengers.
Each car park is locked once the ship has departed and re-opened the day the ship arrives back in port.

Please note that all vehicles are left at the owners risk.
Is the car park under cover?
No, the car park is an open-air car park.
What happens to my car keys?
As the car park is self-parking, you will take your keys with you on your cruise.
If you are a Fred Olsen or a Saga customer and have booked meet and greet car parking (also known as valet car parking) your keys will be held in a safe and secure place ready for your return.
Will porters be available?
Porters will collect your luggage from the drop off point at the terminal and take it to your cabin for you. In some cases trolleys will be provided to help you take your luggage from your car to the drop off point. Please keep hold of your hand luggage, tickets and passport.
I want to cancel my car park space?
Should you wish to cancel your parking space, please contact us on 0844 880 6848 or email email@example.com. Please note that cancellations will incur an administration fee of 25% of the original car parking fee.
How does the booking system work?
Following receipt of your details and confirmation of your booking, a confirmation e-mail with your ABP booking reference number will be sent to you. If you have requested your parking permit etc to be sent to you by e mail this will be attached to your confirmation e-mail. If you have requested that your parking permit be sent to you by post this will be despatched to you at least 4 weeks before the date of your cruise. You must bring the parking permit with you to the Port and it must be displayed in the windscreen of your vehicle at all times whilst using the car park. Failure to bring your parking permit to the Port may result in you having to pay an additional fee to park in the Port.
Can I pay on the day of my cruise for my car parking?
We encourage all passengers to book in advance either using our website or by phone.
If however you wish to pay on the day of your cruise an ABP car parking representative will be available to take your payment. Payment can be made by cash or by card.
Please be aware that it is more expensive to pay on the day than when booking in advance.
I can’t find my cruise on your website?
Our car parking booking service operates for the following companies; Royal Caribbean, Celebrity Cruise Lines, Fred. Olsen, NCL, Saga, MSC, Thomson and Silver Seas. I am on a cruise with Royal Caribbean/ Celebrity Cruise Lines/ Fred. Olsen/ NCL/MSC but my cruise is not on your website?
Please phone our car parking booking line direct on 0844 880 6848 and we will undertake your booking via the telephone. Alternatively, please pay on arrival at the relevant port car park.
Is a booking fee applied to my order?
ABP do not charge an admin fee for your car parking booking but would encourage customers to make a £1.00 contribution to our charity of the year; Countess Mountbatten Hospice.
Countess Mountbatten House is a truly amazing specialist palliative care service that touches the lives of more than 3000 adults with life-limiting cancer each year throughout Southampton and South Central Hampshire.
The service comprises of 4 key areas: a 25 bed in-patient unit, a day care centre and a community team of doctors and nurses all based at Countess Mountbatten House in West End, Southampton and a hospital palliative care team based within Southampton General Hospital. Providing vital support to these key service areas are physiotherapists, occupational therapists, social workers, chaplains, house-keeping staff and over 180 volunteers all working together to ensure the best possible care is provided to patients and their families and carers.
Supporting the work of the hospice staff is the Countess Mountbatten Hospice Charity. The aim of the charity is to provide funding that is over and above that provided by the NHS, enabling the services offered to be enhanced, all with the aim of providing additional care and improving patients’ quality of life.

Is there a credit card/ debit card fee charged by ABP?
From 8th April 2013 £1.80 will be charged when using your credit card to make your booking. There is however no charge if you pay using a debit card.
Can I park my motorhome/caravan in your car park?
If we have space we do allow passenger's to park vehicles other than a standard size car. However you will need to phone ABparking to confirm availability. An additional charge will apply due to the vehicle taking up more than one car parking space.
SHUTTLE CAR PARK
Where is the shuttle car park located?
The ‘shuttle’ car park is within ABP Port estate, less than a 4 minute drive from the City Cruise Terminal.
How do I get to the shuttle car park?
The shuttle car park is located in the Port of Southampton Western Docks. When entering the Port of Southampton, if you wish to drop your baggage off before, please proceed directly to the cruise terminal, then follow the signs to the shuttle car park. If you do not wish to drop your baggage off at the cruise terminal. Proceeded through Dock Gate 10 or 20 and follow the signs to shuttle car parking.
How do I return to the shuttle car park after my cruise?
There are regular buses that run directly outside the cruise terminal which will take you to your car.
How regularly does the shuttle bus run?
The shuttle bus runs every 10 minutes from outside the terminal.
MEET & GREET CAR PARKING SERVICE
Which cruise lines are applicable for meet and greet (also known as valet parking) car parking?
Currently only Fred. Olsen and Saga passengers are able to undertake meet & greet (valet) car parking with us.
What is Meet and Greet/ Valet Car Parking?
Meet & greet car parking (also known as valet car parking), is the easy and convenient way to park. On entering the port, please drive to your designated cruise terminal, where the traffic marshals will direct you to the drop off area.
You will be met outside your designated cruise terminal by an ABP representative who you will hand your keys to, you will then be a very short walk to your cruise terminal. On your return follow the signs to 'key collection' where an ABP representative will be there to meet you with your keys. Your car will be parked a short walk from the terminal building.
Please note, Valet car parking does not include 'valeting' your vehicle.
